Adams and Reese Nashville Special Counsel Anne Russell has received the 2016 “Attorney for Justice” Award from the Tennessee Supreme Court Access To Justice Commission. The award recognizes Russell’s dedication to pro bono service, the legal profession, and the citizens of Tennessee.

The Tennessee Supreme Court Pro Bono Recognition Program honors attorneys throughout Tennessee who perform more than 50 hours of pro bono service annually. Honored attorneys receive a certificate of recognition bearing the “Attorney for Justice” seal and signed by the members of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Attorney recipients also have their names added to the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Pro Bono Service Honor Roll. Russell and her fellow 2016 honorees were also recognized at various public recognition events within the region.

At Adams and Reese, Russell is a member of the Litigation Practice Group practicing in the firm’s Nashville office. She focuses her practice on civil litigation with emphasis on probate litigation, antenuptial agreements, alternative dispute resolution and estates. Russell also handles family law and personal injury matters and is certified in Civil Mediation in Tennessee pursuant to Rule 31, Tennessee Supreme Court.

Russell also received the “Attorney for Justice” honor in 2014 in recognition for her pro bono work during the 2013 calendar year.
