Adams and Reese Partner Philip A. “Phil” Franco is a recipient of the Louisiana State Bar Association's (LSBA) 2017 Pro Bono Publico Award. Franco received the award at the Pro Bono Publico and Children’s Law Awards Ceremony May 23, 2017 at the Louisiana Supreme Court Building in New Orleans.

The Pro Bono Publico Award recognizes attorneys and organizations that have made a major contribution to the enhancement and promotion of pro bono legal services to the poor.

Earlier this year, Franco was elected to the Board of Directors of The Pro Bono Project, a New Orleans-based nonprofit that provides free, quality civil legal services to underserved citizens of metro New Orleans and the surrounding community.

Franco is a litigation partner with the firm since 1976. Among Adams and Reese’s most experienced commercial trial lawyers, Franco represents cases that are high profile, involve significant risks to the client, and/or include particularly contentious opponents. His commercial litigation practice has been more concentrated recently in the areas of construction, real estate and corporate disputes.
