In recognition of April as National Volunteer Month, and as a prelude to Goodwill Week, observed the first week of May, Goodwill Manasota recently held its Ambassador Recognition Luncheon. Adams and Reese was among the honorees and named as “Business of the Year” at the event.
Goodwill Manasota recognized those who make a commitment to share the mission of Goodwill with the greater community by volunteering at events, speaking on the organization’s behalf, creating new fundraisers and introducing their friends, family and colleagues to Goodwill.
As part of the firm’s HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support) program, Adams and Reese has had a special relationship with Goodwill Manasota over the years, recognizing the nonprofit that turns donations into good jobs, good homes and good neighborhoods for people in need in the Sarasota community.
Through HUGS, Adams and Reese employees have been long-time contributors to charitable efforts in the Sarasota community and Goodwill Manasota, partnering with Goodwill Manasota on various community projects. Adams and Reese was previously named Goodwill Manasota’s “Company of the Year” in 2014 and Adams and Reese Sarasota Office Partner in Charge, Jason Gaskill, received the distinction of “Goodwill Manasota Super Hero,” and serves as a devoted Goodwill Manasota Ambassador.
