For the 13th consecutive year, the Adams and Reese New Orleans office was named among the “Best Places to Work” by New Orleans CityBusiness Newspaper. Adams and Reese has been named to the prestigious list since 2004, and in 2012, the firm placed No. 1 in the large company category among the “Best Places to Work.”
CityBusiness selected 35 honorees in the large company category (more than 50 employees) and 15 honorees in the small business category (fewer than 50 employees). The firm and its fellow honorees were recognized at an awards event Friday, Dec. 2 at the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans. Adams and Reese will also be profiled in a special publication that will be part of the Dec. 9 issue of CityBusiness.
Adams and Reese was chosen as an honoree based on the results of an online employee survey completed by New Orleans office employees. Factors that influenced the firm's ranking were benefits such as competitive salaries; health, prescription and dental benefits; 401(k) and profit sharing plans; life and disability plans; maternity and daycare options; employee recognition programs; and personal health programs.
Additionally, the opportunity for all employees to participate in HUGS, the firm’s award-winning corporate philanthropy program, weighed in heavily to make Adams and Reese one the top employer-friendly companies in the city. For attorneys, the opportunity to participate in CA&RE, the firm’s pro bono service program, is considered a unique and important part of belonging to the firm.
Aside from the Adams and Reese New Orleans office, the Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Jackson, Memphis, Nashville and Tampa offices have also been recognized among the “Best Places to Work” by publications in their respective communities.
