The Adams and Reese Birmingham office sponsored and participated in the Fourth Annual Girls Inc. Cajun Cook-Off, held Saturday April 12th, at Linn Park.

The Adams and Reese booth served snow cones and participated with the team name, “Bayou Boogaloos.” The snow cones included Cajun-named flavors, such as Ragin Cajun, Boo Brew, Gator Grog, Swamp Swigs, Crawdaddy Delight, Pirate Punch, Bug Juice and Bayou Breeze.

The event also featured a Cajun cooking competition with Cajun favorites including gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and live music was played at the park. Approximately 700 people attended the fundraiser to benefit Girls Inc. programs that inspire Central Alabama girls to be strong, smart and bold.

Girls Inc. is one of several organizations that is a part of the Adams and Reese HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support) employee volunteer and corporate philanthropy program, which donates financial resources and volunteer hours to more than 200 community organizations in need across the law firm's regional footprint in seven states.
