Adams and Reese Tampa Partner Eric J. Partlow has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation. Established in 1996, the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the charitable entity working in conjunction with the 4,000+-member Hillsborough County Bar Association.

“I am truly honored to be appointed to the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation’s Board of Trustees,” Partlow said. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members to continue the Foundation’s mission of promoting and supporting necessary access to justice programs for the citizens who need them.”

The mission of the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation is to support and promote projects and programs that encourage assistance to poor, disabled and disadvantaged residents in the Tampa area community who are in need of legal services and access to the legal system. Along with facilitating access to justice initiatives, the Foundation provides legal education to residents; awards grants, fellowships and scholarships for the improvement of the legal profession; and supports continuing legal education programs in the community.

At Adams and Reese, Partlow is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Tampa office. He primarily handles matters related to products liability, premises liability and insurance defense, banking, creditor’s rights, cable/telecommunications, construction, intellectual property, trade secrets, unfair competition, real property and non-compete covenants. Among his experience, Partlow has defended class actions; represented national clients in commercial landlord and tenant matters throughout Florida; and represented clients in all phases of disputes, including mediation, arbitration, trial, appeal and post-judgment recovery.
