The law firm of Adams and Reese raised more than $9,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure New Orleans Affiliate through its annual “Pink Day” fundraiser held Friday, Oct. 21st in its New Orleans office. Adams and Reese employees participated in a silent auction, prize raffles, a pumpkin decorating contest, a fundraising luncheon, the “Best Dressed Pink” Awards, and other activities to raise money for breast cancer research and support services.

The firm also fielded a team or nearly 30 runners, walkers and volunteers for the 20th Anniversary Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® New Orleans event, which took place Saturday, Oct. 22nd in New Orleans City Park.

Adams and Reese New Orleans Partner Frank Liantonio, Jr. is a member of the Susan G. Komen New Orleans Board of Directors and served as Race for the Cure® New Orleans Co-Chair for its 20th anniversary event.

Susan G. Komen leads the global movement to end breast cancer and save lives through patient advocacy, community awareness and community health programs, community grant programs, and fundraising events that raise money for breast cancer research, screening and treatment initiatives. Since its inception in 1982, Susan G. Komen has invested more than $920 million in breast cancer research and supported more than 3 million breast cancer survivors through its programs.
