The Adams and Reese Sarasota office continued its annual tradition of partnering with Goodwill Manasota, Inc., to provide Christmas to a local Sarasota family in need, raising money and purchasing gifts for a single mother and her three children.

In addition to the donated wish list items, the Firm donated a Christmas tree with all the trimmings, a pre-purchased holiday meal, and each child received a riding toy (Big Wheels, Scooter, tiny car), balls, toys, games, and clothing (pants, shirts, jackets, socks, undergarments, shoes). A giant stocking and stocking stuffers were purchased for each child, and the Firm donated a full outfit for the mother.

The holiday project was part of the Adams and Reese HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support) community service and philanthropic program, which for 26 years has donated time and financial resources to more than 200 organizations throughout the law firm’s regional footprint.

Adams and Reese Sarasota office Partner in Charge Jason Gaskill was present in the Adams and Reese office this morning to donate the gifts to the mother of the family and also representatives from Goodwill Manasota – Veronica Brandon Miller, VP, Goodwill Foundation, and Morgan Gerhart, Director of Development.

“We are very proud of our partnership with Goodwill Manasota, and this is a very important holiday tradition for all of our employees to pitch in and help a local mother and her children in their time of need,” Gaskill said. “It means a lot to our law firm and to our office to participate in continuing to give back to the community.”

Earlier this year, Adams and Reese was selected “Company of the Year” by Goodwill Manasota for its year-long charitable efforts, and Gaskill was also honored as a “Goodwill Manasota Super Hero.” Gaskill serves as an active Ambassador with Goodwill Manasota.

Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is an industry-leading, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit business that turns donations into good jobs, good homes and good neighborhoods for people in need in the Sarasota community.
