Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that Emilie L. Pfister has joined the firm as an Associate in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group in its New Orleans office. Pfister received her J.D. and Certificate in Civil Law from Tulane University Law School. While a law student, she served in a number of clerkships and internships that helped her gain experience in various areas of transactional law.

Among her experience, Pfister served as a Public Service Extern for the Port of New Orleans Board of Commissioners, an SEC Conflict Mineral Disclosure Evaluator for the not-for-profit organization Development International, a Judicial Intern for Judge Fredericka Homberg Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and a Law Clerk with the Tulane University Legal Assistance Program. Additionally, she served as a law clerk for a local litigation and transactional law firm, gaining experience in matters involving mineral royalties, premises liability, the Fair Labor Standards Act, severance and unemployment, maritime law, successions and other areas.

Pfister holds Certificates in Advanced Study and Training in Mediation as well as Advanced Study and Training in Dispute Resolution from the Humboldt University Faculty of Law International Summer School on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Berlin, Germany. She earned her B.A. in Communications with a concentration on Political Communications from Louisiana State University.
