Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that Evan A. Moeller has joined the firm as Special Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group in its Houston office. An accomplished trial lawyer and commercial litigator, Moeller has tried cases to juries in both federal and state courts, representing businesses and high net-worth individuals in business litigation, fiduciary litigation, financial services litigation, energy litigation, insurance litigation and labor and employment litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Evan regularly counsels major financial institutions in developing and improving their legal order processing policies and procedures.
Moeller is a Fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation, an honor reserved for one-third of one percent of members of the State Bar of Texas, and two-thirds of whose honorees have been licensed more than twenty years. He was also named one of Houston’s Top Lawyers for Financial Services Litigation by H Texas Magazine in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, recognized by Thomson Reuters as a Texas Rising Star® in Business Litigation in 2014 and 2015, and named a Top Lawyer in Litigation by Houstonia Magazine in 2015.
Moeller earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2005, and his B.A. from Ole Miss in 2001.
