Ann Wallace, Adams and Reese Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, has been named among the 2017 “Women of the Year” by New Orleans CityBusiness. The honor recognizes top New Orleans businesswomen, highlighting their professional accomplishments and community contributions. Wallace was recognized today along with 49 fellow honorees at the 2017 “Women of the Year” Awards luncheon at the Hyatt in New Orleans and she is profiled in a special “Women of the Year” insert which will run in the publication on Nov. 10.

Since 1999, the New Orleans CityBusiness “Women of the Year” Awards have annually recognized the 50 top businesswomen in New Orleans who are making notable contributions to both the local business community and society at large. This year marks Wallace’s second time as a “Women of the Year” honoree. She was previously honored in 2004. Wallace joins a number of Adams and Reese women who have received the award in previous years including attorneys Courtney Miller, Debbie Rouen, Leslie Lanusse, Jaimmé Collins, Elizabeth Roussel, Laurie Young, Lara White and Jane Raiford, along with Human Resources Director Linda Soileau.

Wallace is a senior level marketing and business development executive with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of marketing and operations management. Since joining the firm in 2001, Wallace has worked closely with all aspects of firm management and has developed an in-house marketing and business development staff of 18 professionals.

Working closely with the firm’s Managing Partner, Executive Committee and Practice Group and Team Leaders, Wallace participates in developing and executing the firm’s strategic planning decisions. In addition, Wallace directs all of the traditional marketing and business development efforts of the firm, including client relationship management, marketing research, communications, advertising, public and community relations, direct marketing, seminars and special events. She is also a member of the firm’s Strategic Planning Committee and Diversity Committee. Throughout her career, Wallace has been frequently interviewed and authored several articles on client development and marketing strategy.
