Hevron Helps World War II Committee Produce Drafts for Crafts Fundraiser in New Orleans

Adams and Reese attorney Marshall Hevron, who is one of the founding members and former commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8973 in New Orleans, serves on the National World War II Museum’s Young Benefactors Committee that is putting on the 2nd Annual Drafts for Crafts on Friday, March 20, at the U.S. Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center & Colonel Battle Barksdale Parade Ground, from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Adams and Reese is also sponsoring the event.

The event raises funds for the National World War II Museum and the restoration of important WWII artifacts. This year, all funds are going towards the restoration of PT-305, a naval patrol boat similar to the one skippered by JFK in the Pacific. Once restored to its original specifications, the PT-305 will travel the country’s waterways as a reminder of New Orleans' critical contributions to WWII and the strong connections and commitment that younger generations have to this piece of history.

The event will feature entertainment by Sweet Crude and Mississippi Rail Company, and tickets are $65 each. There will also be an open bar and tastings from some of New Orleans’ finest restaurants.
