B. Jeffrey “Jeff” Brooks was elected Chair of the Adams and Reese Executive Committee and Partners Reber M. “Mitch” Boult and Leslie M. Henry were elected to serve on the firm’s Executive Committee.

Brooks’ selection as Chair of the Executive Committee marks his third term having previously served as Chair in 2014 and 2015. Boult previously served a three-year term on the Executive Committee from 2014 through 2016. Both Boult and Henry will serve three-year terms beginning January 1, 2018, as the six-partner committee oversees the strategic operations of the firm as well as its attorneys, advisors and professional staff.

Members of the firm’s Executive Committee and management are located throughout the firm’s regional footprint. Adams and Reese has nearly 300 attorneys and advisors located in its 18 offices across 17 markets throughout the southern United States and Washington, DC.

After serving as Chief Counsel and Director of Special Projects for Congressman Richard H. Baker, Brooks joined Adams and Reese in 1997 establishing an office for Adams and Reese in Washington DC. Brooks added several lawyers and lobbyists and built a substantive legislative practice. Brooks serves clients primarily in matters of transportation, appropriations, public works, education, stimulus, energy and the environment when representing their interests on Capitol Hill.

Boult counsels multi-national corporations on intellectual property matters and is particularly skilled in developing strategies for monetizing and enforcing IP rights on a global basis. He has served as lead advisor on branding campaigns throughout Asia, Europe and North America; establishing licensing and franchising networks for United States corporations in Europe and Asia; and multi-jurisdictional IP litigation. He has extensive experience guiding US corporations as they extend their brands into new markets and also advises clients on E-commerce and data privacy issues, including the lamented United States EU Safe Harbor, and similar topics.

Henry leads the firm’s growth in toxic tort counsel in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana working from the firm’s New Orleans and Houston offices. With more than a decade of legal and litigation experience, Henry is a thought leader in the latest developments in premises liability, products liability, and environmental and toxic tort. Among her clients, Henry serves as national counsel for a petrochemical client and handles its docket nationwide in toxic tort litigation matters.
