Adams and Reese Baton Rouge Associate Kellen J. Mathews has been appointed to serve as a member of the 2016-2017 Louisiana Bar Foundation Capital Area Community Partnership Panel (CPP). He will serve a one-year term.

The 16-member Capital Area CPP is one of nine regional chapters established by the Louisiana Bar Foundation to serve as liaisons to grantees within their communities. The panels work outside of the foundation’s regular grant process to identify new areas of need for funding, foster collaboration, respond to arising community needs and encourage local involvement in the designation of foundation grant funds.

At Adams and Reese, Mathews is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice includes complex litigation, products liability, education, construction, commercial and personal injury claims.

Also in 2016, Mathews received the Louis Berry Award, presented by the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society. The award honored his continuous work and support within the legal community and all that he has contributed to the Martinet Society.
