Adams and Reese Partner Chuck Adams was featured among New Orleans CityBusiness’ “Driving Forces” in the April 17 issue of the publication, which recognized 35 business leaders for their achievements in the workforce and New Orleans economy since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The special edition coincided with the 10th anniversary of Katrina.

A special awards ceremony was also held March 23 at the New Orleans Museum of Art to recognize the honorees.

As Managing Partner, Adams was instrumental in regional growth to bring Adams and Reese to 300 attorneys and advisors in 16 offices in seven states and Washington, DC. He was directly involved in every phase of the firm’s mergers and office openings in Birmingham Nashville, Memphis, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Tallahassee and Columbia.

Prior to serving as Managing Partner, Adams practiced for more than 25 years in business and corporate law and commercial transactions. He is frequently asked to serve on commercial arbitration engagements as a long-time member of the Commercial Disputes Panel of the American Arbitration Association. He has more than 30 years representing many creditors in bankruptcy, those buying assets from entities and individuals in bankruptcy and businesses acquiring and operating substantial business assets.
