Adams and Reese Nashville Office Partner in Charge Lynn Morrow has been selected among the 2015 “Top Women in Music City” by the Nashville Business Journal.

To come up with the list of winners, the NBJ asked for nominations of women working in the music business who are making a creative and economic impact on the industry. The nominations were then given to a judging committee consisting of women music professionals from Los Angeles and New York City. These judges scored the nominees, and NBJ’s internal judging committee made the final selections. Kimberly Schlapman and Karen Fairchild will be the keynote speakers at the awards dinner at the Omni Nashville Hotel on Sept. 24.

Morrow joined Adams and Reese in 2001 to assist in the development of the firm’s Entertainment and New Media Practice Group. A former litigator in Southern California, she moved to Nashville in 1992 to pursue a career in entertainment law. She represents businesses that promote music and other forms of entertainment as well as artists, authors, songwriters, music publishers and producers. She was voted Nashville Journal’s “Best of the Bar” for several years by peer review and is past Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Section of the Nashville Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association. She is also a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law section of the California Bar Association, a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Copyright Society of the South.
