The Adams and Reese Nashville office continues its annual tradition of holding a Holiday Card Collection drive to aid the St. Jude's Ranch for Children Holiday Card Recycling Drive. St. Jude's Ranch uses old cards in a green program to teach at-risk youth about entrepreneurship skills and wage-earning jobs. The children refurbish the cards and re-sell them to the public.
The funds generated from the recycled card program support other programs at St. Jude’s Ranch for neglected, abused and abandoned children.
The idea began more than 30 years ago, wishing to show St. Jude’s donors appreciation for making St. Jude’s Ranch for Children possible, the idea was conceived to turn the previous year’s Christmas cards into “new” cards for the coming season.
The Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support), has devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to more than 200 community service organizations nationwide.
