Adams and Reese Partner Leslie A. Lanusse has been named a 2016 BTI Client Service All-Star for the sixth consecutive year. The honor, which is awarded by BTI Consulting Group through extensive independent research and interviews with corporate counsel, recognizes Lanusse’s commitment to putting clients first and delivering outstanding results.

It serves as a definitive annual guide to attorneys who, through exceptional client service, command the attention of general counsel and legal decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies and other large organizations.
To compile the 2016 report, BTI Consulting Group conducted 322 phone interviews with general counsel and top legal decision-making executives at leading organizations. A total of 312 attorneys were named to the 2016 BTI Client Service All-Star list, with 28 attorneys – including Lanusse – representing labor and employment law. Lanusse has more than two decades of experience in labor and employment law. In her experience, she has defended claims of discrimination before the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission and the Louisiana Commission on Human Rights; handled claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state compensation commissions; provided defense for the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and environmental whistleblower claims before administrative agencies; provided defense for Family and Medical Leave Act claims; provided defense of claims of violation by employers of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; and defended employers during investigations of compliance with wage and hour laws.
Lanusse, who joined the Adams and Reese New Orleans office in 1985, began her career as an insurance defense lawyer before moving her specialty to employment law nearly 20 years ago.
