Adams and Reese Partner Bill Shea, who serves as the Partner in Charge of the firm’s Baton Rouge office, has been accepted into the 2015 Class of Leadership Louisiana, an annual program sponsored by the Council for a Better Louisiana.

The leadership program is designed to enhance the capacity of leaders from around the state, and provide them an opportunity to network, as well as to brainstorm on how they can collaboratively impact their communities. With more than 1,100 alumni, Leadership Louisiana program graduates are considered to be “the movers and shakers” of Louisiana’s business and industry.

Shea joined Adams and Reese in 2004 and is a Partner and a member of both the Commercial Disputes and Casualty and Coverage teams. He focuses his practice on commercial clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract and lease disputes, claims for breach of fiduciary duty and general business disputes. He also maintains an insurance regulatory practice, handling licensing and compliance issues with the Louisiana Department of Insurance and other regulating agencies.

Shea is ranked among Louisiana Rising Stars® in Business Litigation.

Shea is active in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Baton Rouge Symphony and the Country Club of Louisiana. He is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, and the Most Blessed Sacrament Men’s Club.
