Adams and Reese attorneys Richard Stewart, Bradley Waters and Adam Massey have been selected among the 2014 Texas Rising Stars (by Thomson Reuters). Selections are based on peer nominations made by more than 70,000 attorneys from across the state, and Rising Stars must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent across the state are named to Rising Stars.

Massey was selected in General Litigation, while Stewart was named in Business Litigation, Civil Litigation Defense and General Litigation, and Bradley Waters was selected in Civil Litigation Defense and Business Litigation.

The Rising Stars list appears in this month’s edition of Texas Monthly.

Candidates for selection are evaluated based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts, settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within law firm, bar and/or other professional activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background and other outstanding achievements.
