Adams and Reese Nashville Music Row office client Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, a Grammy-nominated and award-winning gospel quartet, performed the National Anthem prior to the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday, September 4th, but the race following the performance was postponed to Tuesday, September 6th, due to Tropical Storm Lee and resulting inclement weather.
This was the second consecutive year Ernie Haase and Signature Sound performed the Star Spangled Banner before the NASCAR event in Atlanta. EHHS combines modern musical concepts with the timeless quality of vocal groups to break the traditional mold of gospel quartets. The quartet was formed by Ernie Haase, the tenor singer of the famed Cathedral Quartet.
