Houston
Susan C. Mathews is a member of the Bankruptcy Practice Team of the Transaction and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group. Her practice focuses on representation of debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees, and bankruptcy litigation including debtor-in-possession credit facilities, drafting of plan and disclosure statement, stay litigation, claims objections, preference litigation, lease litigation and related matters, and representation of purchasers in asset sales in bankruptcy cases.
Jonathan A. Peckham is a member of the Real Estate Team. His practice focuses on commercial real estate across all product types, including office, retail, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, land and subdivision development, and specialty properties. He represents local, regional and national clients in all phases of real estate development, acquisition, investment, finance, management, leasing, operation and disposition.
Richard A. Stewart is a member of the Commercial Dispute Practice Team. He maintains a diverse civil litigation practice including commercial, maritime, casualty, environmental and toxic tort litigation. He has significant experience in the defense and prosecution of commercial matters involving contractual disputes, directors’ and officers’ liability, deceptive trade practices, fraud, tortious interference, and other business torts.
Elaine H. Tippitt is a member of the Corporate/ Securities Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Team. She counsels clients on an ongoing basis on corporate governance, disclosure and compliance under federal and state securities laws, stock exchange and NASD rules. She represents issuers and individuals in both public and private offerings of securities, including initial public offerings, and secondary and follow-on public offerings.
Jackson
David E. Rozier, Jr. is a member of the Environmental Litigation and Toxic Tort Practice Team. He also has extensive experience in Bankruptcy, Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Law, Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation. He is approved as a mediator by the Mississippi State Bar, and serves as a mediator for the U.S. Postal Service. He has served as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Jackson since 1996 and is President of the Mississippi Municipal Judges Association.
Nashville
Brad A. Lampley is a member of the Construction Law and Real Estate Team. His recent cases of note include the defense of a $20 million stock ownership/breach of contract case; the prosecution of a multi-million dollar non-compete and fraud case; and the defense of a majority stockholder in an action for breach of contract and fiduciary duty.
New Orleans
Chris A. D’Amour is a member of the Commercial Dispute Resolution Team, practicing primarily in the areas of casualty, insurance coverage, products liability, entertainment law, class action defense and commercial litigation cases. He has represented RCA Insurance Company, Philip Service Corporation and Auto Owners Insurance Company, and has experience in both jury and judge trials.
