Brad Lampley joined 20 Tennessee business leaders in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, May 1st, to talk about efforts to spur the state’s economy, as reported by the
Nashville Business Journal.
Individual business leaders from a range of industries, and also members of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, met with various departments of United States President Barack Obama’s administration to ask for services on which the federal administration can lend assistance and ways businesses hope the government will ease costly regulations.
The trip was put on by Business Forward, which is supporting a series of talks getting business leaders in front of policy makers.
At Adams and Reese, Lampley serves as the Nashville office Partner in Charge. Lampley has a multifaceted practice in governmental relations, serving as legislative counsel to businesses and trade associations with interests before the Tennessee General Assembly. He also focuses on business litigation and commercial dispute resolution, with experience in banking and construction litigation, sports law and real estate.
Lampley serves as Chairman of the Music City Bowl, and this past year, he led the 14th annual college football bowl game to an economic impact of $22.2 million for the city of Nashville.
