Adams and Reese partner, Mark R. Beebe, has been selected as one of the New Orleans CityBusiness Power Generation honorees for 2003. Beebe was honored Thursday, February 20, 2003 at a luncheon at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.
Beebe is beginning his fourteenth year with Adams and Reese and has been a partner since 1995. From 1999 to 2002, he served as the firm’s Liaison Partner for Associates, responsible for the professional development, training, morale and communication with management of the 98 associates located in seven offices throughout the South Central United States. Currently, Beebe is the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Team Leader, managing 40 lawyers primarily assigned along with 30 other lawyers secondarily assigned to his team and located in seven different regional offices and practicing in various jurisdictions throughout the United States. He also serves on the firm’s Recruiting Committee and has previously served on the Adams and Reese Retirement Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and Antitrust Civil RICO Subcommittee. Beebe is currently enrolled in the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute Class of 2003 and a graduate of the Metropolitan Area Commission Leadership Forum. He is currently a Board member for Travelers Aide of New Orleans, the Partnership in Education Coordinator (Andrew J. Bell Jr. High) and a HUGS Volunteer (Adams and Reese Community Service Program).
Beebe has received a distinguished service award for his activities with the HUGS Community Service Program, and received the Spirit of Excellence Award from the United Way.
He has coached both baseball and soccer at Carrolton Boosters Playground, served on the United Way Allocation Committee and has been involved in the Young Leadership Council.
