Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that Timothy J. “Tim” Anzenberger has joined the firm as an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group in its Jackson office. Anzenberger focuses his practice on commercial litigation, appellate litigation and bankruptcy. He has tried and argued cases before federal bankruptcy courts, arbitration panels and Mississippi state courts. Anzenberger has also briefed and presented oral argument in appeals before the Mississippi Supreme Court as well as in bankruptcy appeals.
In the legal community, he is a member of the Pro Bono Appellate Program for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit as well as The Mississippi Bar Appellate Practice, Business, and Litigation Sections. Anzenberger is active with the Jackson Young Lawyers Association and a member of the Charles Clark American Inn of Court.
In 2012, he was honored among Mississippi Business Journal’s “Leadership in Law” class. He was also recognized as a 2016 Mid-South Rising Star® in Appellate, Bankruptcy: Business, and Business Litigation.
Anzenberger earned his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law, graduating first in his class. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for Presiding Justice Jess H. Dickinson of the Mississippi Supreme Court and as an Adjunct Professor in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy at his alma mater. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University.
