Angela N. Grewal


Angela Grewal joined Adams and Reese in 2013 as an Associate in the firm’s Jacksonville office.

Practicing law since 2012, Angela has litigation and appellate experience in a variety of substantive and procedural areas, including breaches of contract, construction claims, foreclosure suits, insurance disputes, lender liability and procedural issues.

Licensed in Florida and Ohio, Angela represents banks and financial institutions, employers in breach of contract and related causes of action, and businesses in defending against FDCPA and TCPA claims.

Angela’s accomplishments and experience include:

  • Served as a judicial extern for The Honorable Sandra S. Beckwith, gaining experience in habeas corpus petitions, class certification motions, and prisoner rights petitions.
  • Served as the articles editor the University of Cincinnati Law Review and was a member of the Student Legal Education Committee, Admissions’ Committee, Student Court and Tenant Information Project.
  • Elected into The Order of the Coif, University of Cincinnati College of Law, an national law school honor society open to students whose academic average for all six semesters in law school ranks in the first tenth of the graduating class.

Angela earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2012, and she received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy, Politics & the Public, and Political Science, from Xavier University, in 2009.

In her community, Angela is a Delores Barr Weaver Fellow with the Women’s Giving Alliance of Jacksonville, an organization of women that pool their philanthropic giving to distribute grants to organizations affecting the lives of women and girls in Northeast Florida. Angela served as a fellow for The Ohio Innocence Project, researching and drafting motions for post-conviction relief and motions for a new trial based on newly discovered evidence or potential DNA testing on behalf of convicted felons who maintain actual innocence.

Among the people Angela most admires is Agatha Christie, who managed to create some of the most intense, spell-binding, complex and compelling mysteries that are still enjoyed around the world.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys reading, cheering on the Bengals, Reds, and Xavier Musketeers, attending musical theater, trying new restaurants, and exploring Jacksonville.
