Birmingham Business Journal interviewed several of the top Partners at local law firms, including Adams and Reese Partner Ann Huckstep, in a Q&A feature that asked them, "What legal practice areas does your firm expect to be the busiest during the second half of 2010 and why?"
Huckstep responded, "We expect financial services litigation, particularly in the areas of consumer lending and debt collection, to continue to be very busy due to the current state of the economy. In addition, we are seeing an upswing in health care matters, now that health care reform has been enacted and the economy is starting to improve."
The Q&A feature, known as "The Bottom Line", appeared in the Law Firms special section of the June 11 edition of the
Birmingham Business Journal. Every week the feature is published as local professionals weigh in on the hottest issues in various industries.
