Philanthropy

We are a recognized leader in community and pro bono service.

We are the only law firm in the United States recognized by the White House with a Points of Light Foundation Award for our community service. We have a proven record of volunteer involvement and pro bono work.

In 1988, we established the HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support) program to encourage our staff and attorneys to become involved in the communities in which we work and live. Through HUGS, we deliver Thanksgiving and Easter dinners to families in need, raise money for children infected with AIDS, provide assistance to Humane Societies in our cities, and participate in countless other activities and fund-raisers in our communities.

In 2000, we set a new standard for pro bono programs, establishing CA&RE (Caring Adams and Reese Employees). Each attorney is allocated time to perform pro bono work. CA&RE has handled hundreds of pro bono cases firm wide.
