Christina Blood joined Adams and Reese in 2011 as an Associate in the firm’s Tampa office. She has experience in litigation matters, including banking and financial services.
In 2010, Christina was a former summer associate at Adams and Reese, where she worked on legal matters concerning civil and commercial litigation, including commercial foreclosures, real property disputes and contract disputes.
Christina served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew in the United States Middle District of Florida, where she performed legal research, prepared legal memoranda and drafted orders on procedural and substantive issues.
Christina’s other accomplishments include:
- Received book awards in Trial Practice and Privacy Law while in law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
- Qualified for the Dean’s List every law school semester and graduated cum laude.
- Served as Senior Research Editor for the University of Florida Levin College of Law’s Journal of Technology Law and Policy. Christina also has writing and editing experience from her undergraduate career at the University of Florida as an English major. She wrote and edited for an entertainment magazine, an academic press and several student-run publications.
Christina received her J.D. from The University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2011, and earned her B.A. in English, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2008.
In the community, Christina is a former legal services intern with the Department of Children and Families, where she reviewed open cases with attorneys, child abuse investigators and social workers. She also formerly served as a Pro Se Divorce Clinic Volunteer with Three Rivers Legal Services, assisting domestic violence victims and low-income clients through pro bono work.
Among the people Christina admires are her parents, who, from an early age, instilled in her the importance of treating people with respect, keeping an open mind and working hard to achieve goals. Professionally, she admires those attorneys who make it a priority to stay well-rounded by balancing their careers with their family, outside interests and hobbies, and community involvement.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, and taking advantage of Florida’s beautiful beaches and weather. She is a big animal lover and a Florida Gators football fan.
