Davis L. Gaddy joined Adams and Reese’s DC office in 2017 as a Government Relations Coordinator and a member of the Government Relations team.

Prior to joining the DC office, Davis spent the previous three years with the political affairs and federation relations staff of the United States Chamber of Commerce: serving as a staff assistant from June 2015 through December 2016 before serving as a senior coordinator through Aug. 2017.

During his time with the United States Chamber of Commerce, Davis’ duties included:

  • Managing and conducting United States Chamber fly-in briefings between state and local chambers and United States Chamber policy experts
  • Managing the federation outreach system to build coalition support for the Chamber’s legislative agenda
  • Conducting list management, content design and content development for grassroots outreach and issue advocacy
  • Producing policy position papers and background informational documents for endorsed and opposed candidates
  • Creating aggressive grassroots messaging campaigns such as The Takeaway – a digital newsletter that provides insight into the political inner workings of DC

In addition, Davis served summer internships with the Republican National Committee in 2012, The Theodore Company in 2013 and the Chamber’s Congressional & Public Affairs department in 2014.

Davis graduated in 2015 from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in public policy and administration.

In his spare time, Davis enjoys athletic contests – both as a participant in golf and tennis and as a spectator of college football.
