Jarrad Garner joined Adams and Reese in 2003 after four years practicing in insurance defense. Jarrad has an extensive litigation background, some of which includes litigating labor and employment disputes, commercial and corporate disputes, product and premise liability claims, municipal liability claims, medical malpractice claims and workers’ compensation defense. His ability to listen to his clients and decipher their needs speaks to his broad spectrum of clients.
Acknowledging the fact that while it is sometimes necessary to take cases to trial, Jarrad believes a better way to serve clients is to pilot litigation through pre-litigation and post-litigation investigation and discovery with a specific plan in mind. This strategy allows the clients to make informed decisions very early in the process and have a myriad of options available to them with a specific goal in mind going forward.

Jarrad is the Summer Associate Program Coordinator for the Jackson office and also supports the recruitment of lateral hires. He attributes his strong work ethic, people skills, familial responsibility and his “never give up” attitude to his father. In his free time, he is doing family activities such as coaching his three children in youth sports. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and reading. As a diehard Mississippi State fan, Jarrad attends most home football, basketball and baseball games.
