Adams and Reese Partner Jeff Richardson was interviewed by
Lawyers USA in an article, "Should Your Law Firm Have Its Own iPhone App?," published in the June 24, 2010, online edition of
New Orleans CityBusiness.
With an estimated 30 million iPhone users and another 600,000 in line for the newest version, some lawyers are launching their own iPhone apps to market their firms.
International law firm Morrison and Foerster released an iPhone app that provides content from its website and blog.
Richardson commented on the app: “It’s nice. It’s designed to catch your attention. It even includes a game on there."
At Adams and Reese, Richardson focuses his practice on class action and complex litigation, but also devotes a large portion of his practice to appellate litigation. He is currently the firm’s Liaison Partner for New Business and has also served as the Chairperson of the firm’s Ethics Committee.
He has a passion for technology, and as part of the firm’s Technology Committee for over a decade, he has been very involved in expanding the firm’s use of technology to meet the needs of clients. Richardson also enjoys helping lawyers and clients use technology to improve their professional and personal lives, and he publishes
iPhone J.D., the only website devoted to the use of iPhones by attorneys. Richardson has served as an adjunct professor at Tulane University, teaching “Computers and the Law.”
