Jeffery S. DeArman joined Adams and Reese in 2004 and is a member of the firm's Real Estate Team and the Banking and Finance Practice Team in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group.
Jeffery represents financial institutions and various business organizations in real estate based financing, real estate development and construction and asset based lines of credit and other types of financing arrangements. Additionally, he represents lessors and lessees with the drafting of, and negotiation of, commercial leases.
His significant contributions include:
- Recognized among Birmingham Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40" for 2009 for his outstanding service to the legal profession and to the community.
- Selected to Birmingham magazine’s “Top Attorneys” listing for 2009.
- Named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” listing in 2006.
Jeffery earned his J.D. cum laude from Cumberland Law School of Samford University in 1999. He was on the Dean’s List, and was an associate editor of Cumberland Law Review. He graduated from Williams Jennings Bryan College, cum laude, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1996.
He is a member of the Alabama and American Bar Associations.
