T. Joseph McNabb joined Adams and Reese in 2010 following the firm's expansion into St. Petersburg. He is a Partner in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group and has been practicing law since 1995.
He focuses his practice on real estate acquisition, development and sale, commercial lending, retail and office leasing, workouts and foreclosures, and title insurance.
Joe's experience includes:
- Representing developers and investors who are buying and selling real estate, including due diligence related to title, surveys, zoning and land use.
- Representing lenders dealing with defaulted loans, including workouts and foreclosures, and representing lenders making new loans, including those secured by real estate or other business assets.
- Representing clients in retail development and leasing, including negotiating anchor leases with national retail tenants; condominium formation and conversion; and resolving title insurance matters for underwriters.
Joe served in the United States Air Force on active duty and in the Reserves.
In the community, he is involved with several organizations that benefit kids, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, where he has served on the Board of Directors. He believes that in difficult economic times it is more important than ever that kids have a safe place to go after school, like the clubs, to learn, be supported and stay on the right path. Joe is also a youth soccer head coach with the Westchase Soccer Association, where he has coached his son's and twin daughters' teams.
He received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995, and earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Boston College in 1987.
In his spare time, Joe prefers outdoor activities with his family, including swimming, hiking and camping. He also likes Irish music, history and Boston Red Sox baseball.
