Kevin Gieseke joined Adams and Reese in 2011 as a Litigation Associate in the firm’s Houston office. He has experience in litigation issues, including insurance defense and employment law.
Kevin clerked at several law firms across Louisiana, where he worked on employment arbitration laws and workers’ compensation cases; researched the authority of the United States Coast Guard in the Outer Continental Shelf; and dealt with Louisiana Open Meeting Laws.
Kevin’s other significant contributions include:
- Working as an associate for the Louisiana Law Review, where he wrote two articles.
- Awarded the Louisiana State University Medal for graduating undergraduate school with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
- Completed the Louisiana State University National Institute for Trial Advocacy Program while in LSU Law School.
Kevin received his J.D., cum laude, from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in May 2011, and earned his B.A. in English from Louisiana State University in 2007. He also studied abroad in Europe for a summer.
On a personal note, Kevin most admires his parents, who worked long hours to give him and his brother a comfortable life, while simultaneously managing to be there for childhood baseball and football games, or in times of need. Kevin credits the person who he is today to his parents.
In his spare time, Kevin is an avid reader and writer of fiction. He stays active and keeps healthy, whether it’s in the gym or on the lake. On Saturdays during football season, Kevin watches his LSU Tigers and is a devoted fan of all LSU sports.
