Lauren Tafaro joined Adams and Reese in 2007 and serves on the Labor and Employment team. Drawing on her diverse experience in insurance defense, toxic tort and personal injury litigation, Lauren’s labor and employment practice focuses primarily on insured employment claims.
Lauren has jury trial litigation experience and has authored and argued successful dispositive motions. In addition to her litigation experience, she has provided human resources guidance and counseling, prepared policies and procedures for employers and drafted employment, severance and noncompetition agreements.
Her other significant contributions include:
- Representing employers in administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies.
- Being second chair on a jury trial for a breach of contract (maritime) case.
- Volunteering with the New Orleans Pro Bono Project and Louisiana Appleseed.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law. She was a member of the Loyola Law Review and a Crowe Scholar.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, traveling, painting and college football.
