Tricia T. Olson

Litigation

Tricia Olson joined Adams and Reese in 2006 and is an Associate with the Casualty and Coverage and Health Care Litigation teams in the Litigation Practice Group. She has experience in civil and business litigation and health care law.

 

Tricia is also actively involved in the firm’s efforts to expand their representation of leading transportation and logistics providers headquartered in the Memphis market. She is a participant in the Memphis World Trade Club and helps plan the Club’s sponsored events, including the Multi-Modal Conference.

 

Top cases she has participated in include:

  • Representation of a prominent third party logistics provider headquartered in Memphis in litigation involving damaged shipments.
  • Defense of a prominent Memphis hospital against medical malpractice claims and has assisted in the drafting of numerous summary judgment motions that have been granted.
  • Assisting in obtaining the dismissal of a $500 million dollar lawsuit against our nursing home client in a personal injury dispute, and the dismissal was affirmed by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

 

Tricia earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis in 2005 where she was a member of the University of Memphis Law Review and the Moot Court Board. She was also the Freshman Moot Court Winner and a National Semi-Finalist on the Pace Environmental Moot Court Team.

 

Prior to law school, Tricia worked in the supply chain management department at Qwest in Denver, Colorado where she was responsible for negotiating and drafting various network purchasing agreements. Outside of the office she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, hiking, watching University of Tennessee football and spending time with family and friends.
