Will Hancock joined Adams and Reese in 2002 and currently serves as a Partner in the Special Business Services Group. He practices in the labor and employment area.
Will represents management and has handled sophisticated employment litigation matters since 1989. Among others, he assists healthcare, fast-food, and poultry processing clients plan, implement, and defend employment policies and procedures.
His significant contributions include:
- Drafting and revising employee handbooks and policies and procedures manuals;
- Providing in-house training on issues ranging from hiring, disciplining and terminating employees, and drafting and implementing employment arbitration agreements;
- Drafting, enforcing and defending against non-competition and non-solicitation agreements;
- Designing complicated wage payment plans to comply with the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act;
- Handling administrative investigation and enforcement matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor and the National Labor Relations Board;
- Defending against traditional employment discrimination claims; and
- Defending against FLSA collective actions.

One of his favorite hobbies, Will has been known to slip out of the office and sneak in a round of golf.
