Adams and Reese attorney David Bowsher, Partner in Charge of the firm’s Birmingham office, has been elected Vice President for Judicial Affairs for the Republican National Lawyers Association. Bowsher joined the RNLA Board in January 2013.
The 5,000-member strong RNLA is the national organization of Republican attorneys, and the mission of the RNLA is to advance professionalism, open, fair and honest elections, career opportunity, and Republican ideals.
At Adams and Reese, Bowsher’s practice focuses principally on mergers and acquisitions involving troubled companies and on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy issues, and he also practices in Governmental Relations. Bowsher is ranked among Alabama Super Lawyers® Rising Stars in Business/Corporate, Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights, and Governmental Relations.
Bowsher was a member of the Leadership Birmingham, Class of 2013, and also Birmingham Project Corporate Leadership, Class of 2011. He was selected among the “Top 40 Under 40” by the Birmingham Business Journal. He is a member of the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama Roundtable and a board member of the Birmingham Business Alliance.
