Adams and Reese attorney David Bowsher, who serves as Partner in Charge of the firm’s Birmingham office, was elected to the Board of the Birmingham Business Alliance, which focuses on the economic growth and business prosperity of the entire seven-county Birmingham region.
The Birmingham Business Alliance takes a leadership role in promoting the region’s economic development and business prosperity through four key initiatives: creating a unified forum for business and community leaders; capitalizing on the region’s strengths to unleash its potential; implementing an aggressive program for economic development; and cultivating a 21st century workforce.
The Birmingham Business Alliance was created by the merger of the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Development Board.
At Adams and Reese, Bowsher’s practice focuses principally on mergers and acquisitions involving troubled companies and on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy issues, and he also practices in Governmental Relations. Bowsher is ranked among Alabama Super Lawyers® Rising Stars in Business/Corporate, Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights, and Governmental Relations.
Bowsher was a member of the Leadership Birmingham, Class of 2013, and also Birmingham Project Corporate Leadership, Class of 2011. He was selected among the “Top 40 Under 40” by the Birmingham Business Journal. He is a member of the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama Roundtable.
