Adams and Reese attorney Jamie Olinto has been elected to the Board of Directors of Girls Inc. of Jacksonville. Locally, Girls Inc. of Jacksonville serves more than 1,700 girls every day in literacy after-school programs, outreach and summer camps. The after-school programs provide a supporting, safe environment, offer homework assistance, and enrichment activities like dance, computer, art, storytelling, theater, and bullying prevention.
The board appointment follows Olinto's membership in the inaugural class of Girls Inc. Rising Leader Society, an organization established to serve as an auxiliary branch to the Board. Nationwide, Girls Inc. offers programs on science, math and technology, health, economic and financial literacy, sports skills, leadership and advocacy for girls ages 5 to 18 years old throughout the United States and Canada.
At Adams and Reese, Olinto focuses her practices in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Olinto is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association, The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Section, American Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Bar Association, and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
In 2010, Olinto obtained her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Florida, in 2006.
