Adams and Reese Partner and Labor and Employment Team Leader Liz Roussel has been selected into the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) Class of 2013-2014, which consists of 41 business, civic, and community leaders from the 10-parish region.

As the preeminent regional leadership institute, NORLI provides a nine-month intensive training program for emerging and established community leaders. Participants derive benefits from the active interaction with the session experts and leaders.

Upon graduation, members of the Class of 2013-14 will join a network of over 500 NORLI alumni who are serving in important leadership roles and making a real difference in New Orleans.

The NORLI curriculum examines public policy, education, workforce development, diversity, criminal justice, public safety, environment and sustainability and will focus on how all of these issues affect economic development and quality of life.

At Adams and Reese, Roussel focuses her practice in the areas of labor and employment litigation, commercial litigation and director and officer liability claims litigation. She has represented a wide variety of clients including financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, public entities, nonprofit corporations, state agencies, private universities, public trusts and charter schools.

Roussel is the immediate Past Chair of the board of directors for the Children’s Bureau of New Orleans, a nonprofit United Way partner agency that provides mental health, counseling and other services to children and families. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Longue Vue House and Gardens.
