Adams and Reese Attorney Neal C. Townsend Selected To Leadership Mobile

Adams and Reese Mobile office associate Neal C. Townsend has been selected as a member of the 2017-18 class of Leadership Mobile, a program by Mobile United which identifies and develops leaders from all sectors of the community who are committed to community building and civic service.

The eight month program includes a series of once-a-month, all-day seminars that tackle some of the complex social and economic issues of the local Mobile community, and also includes three retreats that offer a setting for team-building and leadership skills development. The program culminates with a half a dozen small-group, community action projects, many of which have become valued community programs.

Graduates of Leadership Mobile make up a large network of trained leaders who hold key positions on boards of directors throughout the community, and are involved in a wide variety of volunteer efforts. Alumni activities include educational forums and social events.

Born and raised in Mobile, Ala., Townsend joined Adams and Reese in 2013 and is a member of the litigation practice team. With the firm, he represents a wide array of local and national business clients and professionals, as well as local municipalities in a broad range of practice areas, which include construction defect, architectural/engineer professional liability, personal injury, medical and professional malpractice, premise liability and business disputes.

A 2009 graduate of the University of Alabama, Townsend earned his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 2012. In the legal community, he is a member of Claims Litigation Management as well as the Defense Research Institute, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Mobile Young Lawyers Association, Mobile Volunteer Lawyers Association and South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program. He also serves as a chamber ambassador for the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and a Law Week Committee Member of the Mobile Bar Association.
