Adams and Reese attorney Richard Malchon has been elected Treasurer of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, a multi-service, independent, not-for-profit human services agency providing the community with temporary assistance for food, shelter and health care. The Clinic has been caring for the underserved facing temporary emergency needs throughout Pinellas County since 1970.

Malchon also serves on the Board of the Clinic and as Chair of the Property Committee and Finance Committee.

At Adams and Reese, Malchon is a Partner in the firm’s Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Claims Counsel Committee and Ethics Committee. For more than 35 years, he has engaged in a general commercial litigation practice with a focus on the representation of lenders in real estate, construction and asset based loan workouts and creditors in all aspects of Chapter 11 reorganizations and complex Chapter 7 liquidations together with general creditor rights matters.
