The community and corporate philanthropy work of the Adams and Reese Florida offices has helped the law firm be selected as a Finalist in Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2013 Corporate Philanthropy Awards in the Small Company 1-100 employee division, as classified by number of employees in Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Tampa.

Adams and Reese ranked No. 1 in the small company category last year.

This year, 23 companies have been named finalists by an independent panel of judges for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s second Corporate Philanthropy Awards. The awards are designed to spotlight the many corporate-sanctioned giving and volunteer programs that stand out in the Tampa Bay community.

The winners will be selected and announced on December 12th by the Tampa Bay Business Journal at the A La Carte Pavilion.

The Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support), donates time and financial resources to nearly 100 organizations throughout the firm’s regional footprint. Adams and Reese attorneys are also required to perform at least 20 hours of pro bono work per year.
