Adams and Reese Partner Stephen Walsh has been appointed to the Alabama Policy Institute (API) Associate Board of Directors. The API is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to influencing public policy in the interest of the preservation of free markets, limited government and strong families. The organization identifies, develops and promotes innovative policy ideas by providing fact-based, objective analysis of key issues.
At Adams and Reese, Walsh is a Partner practicing in the Special Business Services Practice Group in the firm’s Birmingham office. His practice focuses on advising and representing companies, officers, and directors in a broad array of business and litigation matters. This includes contract negotiation, as well as general business and complex litigation, with an emphasis on labor and employment litigation, consumer finance and real estate litigation, and the defense of professional liability claims, including D&O, E&O, and shareholder disputes.
In August, Walsh was appointed to The Alabama Lawyer Board of Editors, which assists the editor in publishing The Alabama Lawyer and other publications of the Board of Alabama State Bar Commissioners.
