In its 17th year of partnering with the Louisiana State Bar Association and Louisiana Bar Foundation’s Community Action Committee, Adams and Reese provided 60 local children with Christmas gifts in 2013.
“These children, from programs carefully screened by the LSBA, are among New Orleans’ most disadvantaged; these gifts of toys and warm clothes have a great impact ,” said Adams and Reese attorney David Coons, who helped coordinate this year’s drive for the law firm.
Adams and Reese, through its HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support) program, sponsored 60 children this year. New Orleans employees collected and donated presents, and the firm held a “Wrapping Party” on December 4th before delivering the gifts to the LSBA.
For 25 years, the Adams and Reese HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support) philanthropy program has devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to over 200 community service organizations nationwide.
