Adams and Reese attorney Mindi Robinson, in the law firm’s Birmingham office, was selected into the 2013-2014 Class of MOMENTUM, Alabama’s premier executive women’s leadership program, which for more than 10 years has helped women business leaders assume higher leadership roles by providing knowledge and mentoring necessary to meet that challenge.
Through skills-based training and mentoring in a nine-month program, MOMENTUM helps build the capabilities of emerging Alabama women leaders by offering best practices for top-level managers. A one-to one mentoring program gives participants access to a pool of highly respected, experienced senior leaders for individualized problem-solving, as well as personal and professional development.
MOMENTUM selects 25 participants every year.
At Adams and Reese, Robinson focuses her practice primarily on consumer finance litigation and the representation of mortgage loan originators, servicers, and investors in litigation throughout the Southeast. She represents banks and mortgage loan originators, servicers, and investors in litigation arising under the Truth In Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Housing Act, and RICO, as well as claims based on state fair lending, collection and deceptive trade practice laws.
In the professional business community, Robinson is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama, MBA Litigation Task Force and the MBA Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee. She also belongs to the Defense Research Institute and Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
