Adam and Reese attorney Scott Jones, in the firm’s Jackson office, has been selected to receive the Outstanding Service Award from the Capital Area Bar Association. The award will be presented at the 2013 Evening Honoring the Judiciary, held on Thursday, May 16th, at 6 p.m. at the Country Club of Jackson.

Jones is a member of the CABA board of directors.

Jones is a Partner in the Jackson office and has litigated cases in employment, banking, bankruptcy, construction, education, healthcare, contracts, and insurance coverage.

Jones is active in the community by participating with the Mississippi Economic Council and serving as clerk of the Session at Highlands Presbyterian Church. He is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Mississippi and sits on the board of directors for the  Reformed University Fellowship - Midsouth. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Mississippi Associated Builders and Contractors, and Mississippi Bankers Association. Jones is also active with the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, where he provides pro bono legal services to those in need.
