Bowsher Appointed to Duke Law Alumni Association Board of Directors


Adams and Reese Birmingham Office Partner in Charge David Bowsher has been appointed to the Duke Law Alumni Association Board of Directors. Bowsher received his juris doctorate from Duke University Law School in 1999. 

The board communicates the interests of alumni and friends of the Law School to the Dean and staff, representing the Law School in the greater community and helping build the institution through leadership. The board also explores opportunities to engage alumni, friends, and third parties to strengthen the institution and proactively shares updates on the state of the School and identifies opportunities for Duke Law School to gain exposure among prospective students, recruiters, alumni and the legal community.

At Adams and Reese, Bowsher has experience in transactional and bankruptcy law, governmental relations, and corporate and transactional matters.

Bowsher is an elected member of the Board of Governors of the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA), the national organization of Republican attorneys, and he serves as the organization's Vice President for Judicial Affairs.
